| Morningside Block Party - September 15, 2007 5pm-9pm |
| The Morningside Business Association is holding its 3rd annual block party on Saturday, September 15th. There will be live music, food, drink, face painting and a pet parade which kicks off at 5pm. Join your neighbors and friends for a great neighborhood gathering! |

| Almstead’s Sunnyside Market to Close |
| After serving the Morningside area since 1992, Almstead’s is closing its doors on Saturday, September 15th. We thank Jim Almstead for everything he has done in the neighborhood and wish him well for the future. There are no known plans for what might replace Sunnyside Market once it closes for business. |

| Restaurant Scene Expanding in Morningside |
| Chatterbox Pub will open its third location in the location of the former Café Bicko. This will add to the growing list of dining options in the area: Bruegger’s Bagels, Café 44 Restaurant and Wine Bar, Convention Grill, Great Wall of China and Milio’s Sub Sandwiches. |
